I stumbled across a quote, in Italian, on the web that translated "To every bird, it's nest is beautiful." I believe we surround ourselves with colors, textiles, and objects that reflect our deeply personal and individual concept of comfort, in effect "feathering our nest".
I recently downsized my nest, moving from a 4 bedroom/bath home on three levels to a 2bedroom/bath. Downsizing my "stuff" was not easy and I must use every storage option, nook and cranny available to house the things I couldn't part with.
This basket sits above a kitchen cabinet and holds my out-of-season summer &
fall linens & hand towels.
